Gardenzilla!
This is what our garden looks like presently. It's crazy, I think we may have planted everything a little too close this year. We totally didn't expect it to explode like it has. And if you look close the whole thing is super big at the front and slowly gets lower toward the back?! The only thing we can figure is that the front gets more water. Go figure! But we love having fresh vegetables!

Some of my latest projects
So Jeremy's parents gave us a cupboard that they bought from an auction in Redmond years ago. It was stained with this really ugly orange stain. They painted it black and it looked really cute. Kristina (his sister) moved and didn't have room for it anymore so we got it! I decided to sand it down because the paint had started peeling off and I didn't want to just paint over it again. The sanding process was interesting....but ended up being totally worth it. Once I got all the paint and stain off I thought it might look good red. So I tried it and I LOVE it! Its fun having a little bit of color in the room!
And for the front door, Jeremy's mom gave me a Cricut!! Its really fun to use, although there was one night I ended up swearing at the darn machine while Jeremy stood by laughing! So I figured out how to make the welcome sign fit the door. Then there is this really fun store in Lehi called Rod Works. It's definately worth a stop. I found the dragonfly decor, and added some cute flowers to brighten it up! I really like how it turned out.

FInally a Fence!!!
This is the newest addition to the ongoing project we call our house! A Fence. We weren't planning on getting one so soon, but all our neighbors got one and we became the walk way for all the teenagers in town to cut through to the church parking lot behind our house. And since the church has unlocked the gate there have been quite a few people coming into the back to fish the river. And after watching kids walk through our garden, and having seeds uprooted from a dog we decided it was time. We feel a lot more protected and we love it!

Mothers day heartache
My sweet cousin Katie and her husband Tagg recieved news on mothers day that their baby's heart had stopped beating. Zachary Tucker Peterson was due to be born on July 4th, but Heavenly Father had a different plan in mind, and called him home. Its been a rough week for all of us, and I can't even imagine the heartache that Katie and Tagg are experiencing right now. A girl that Katie works with posted this song for her and it is so amazing that I had to share it as well! WARNING....you may want to grab some kleenex before really listening to the words. Katie and Tagg have been such examples of Love and Strength, but could use all the prayers they can get right now. Please pray for them, I know Heavenly Father hears our prayers! And though at this time we wonder why, we know that our Father knows all and we trust in his plan. We love you Katie and Tagg!

Laundry with my husband!
So tonight I have been working on getting some laundry done. Jeremy is always really good to help. We had already finished two loads and were watching tv when the third load was finished drying. This load happened to be mostly Jeremy's dress pants for work. If we don't get them out immediately they wrinkle pretty bad! When I heard the dryer buz I asked Jeremy if he wanted to go get his pants out, to which he let me know that he was tired of doing laundry and wanted to know when we would be done with it, all while laughing and joking around. We started giving each other a hard time, and were laughing pretty hard. While waiting for him to get everything out of the dryer so I could put the things from the washer in to dry I started tickling him to which he replied...."I'll drop these...(short pause), and I don't want to pick them up!" Ha ha! Thats why he's my favorite!! Never a dull moment for sure!

Birthday Fun?!
Happy Birthday Jeremy!
So I'm a couple weeks late on this post but life happens right!!! Jeremy's birthday is the 4th of February. We went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse, one of his favorite places to eat. I told the waitress it was his birthday so they brought the saddle over and yelled happy birthday through the whole place! Before he got on the saddle his dad told him to remember...."Son...if you get bucked off..just get right back on! It was hilarious! And just so you know....he was able to stay on! Love you babe!

Some of our new projects
So I had three frames that I bought and ended up not liking for the purpose that I origanally got them for! So I decided I wanted to try modge podgeing them and making them more fun to hold our family pictures! I didn't know how to go about it at all, but had heard of people doing it before. So I looked online and got a couple of ideas, bought the glue and paper, and this was my results! I love them! And when I brought them home Jeremy couldn't believe that I had made them! I love modge podge!
Ignore the blue marks on the wall, I still need to fix them!
I also put up a new shelf in the kitchen (correction....Jeremy put up the shelf with my help, and I decorated it!), and I finally put up a shelf and some decor in the bathroom!

Jeremy's adventures
I finally got a hold of Jeremy's camera so you could see some of his adventures lately. He went deer hunting in October with his dad and all the boys. They had a great time, and Jeremy was able to shoot a deer while his dad was there. Good thing we knew someone who wanted the meat!! Yuck!!
And his latest and greatest is ice fishing. He teamed up with a couple of guys from our ward right after Christmas and decided this is the winter sport for him! He's been twice in the last week and has plans for more! He's even got me a fishing license and ice fishing pole so I can try it too!
