McKenna is 6 months?!?!?!

My sweet little McKenna Val is 6 months old already! Where has the time gone??? She is such a sweet baby, and we LOVE having her around. She spends as much time on her belly as possible, and loves being up so she can see what's going on. She has started rolling everywhere, from one end of the room to the other. She gets up on her head and knee's, (yes I meant head) and moves back and forth for a minute and then usually ends up going backwards. She loves her binkie when she gets tired, and she will suck her thumb through the binkie(picuture below illustrates what I mean). I was so glad that if she was going to "suck" her thumb that it was through the hole in the binkie, till the last week when she figured out she can just put her thumb in her mouth as you can see from some of these pictures. So far she just chew's on it.
She LOVES eating "real" food now, and when you feed her her cereal or baby food, she makes this mmmmmmm sound after every bite. It's so cute. She isn't to sure about the gerber puffs yet, but I'm sure she will decide they're ok! She says mmmmm mmmm mmm mommma, and we've even heard dadada. She will go to anyone who wants to give her any kind of attention, and smiles ALL the time. She is still pretty stingy with her laughs, but we hear them more and more. Maybe we are learning how to be more funny!!! She love's dogs, and thinks they are really funny.
She has two teeth and they are soooo cute, she love's to sit and chomp with them. And she is so spoiled by everyone around her. She has pretty much wrapped us all around her little finger!
We love you so much McKenna, and we're glad that you choosed us!!
6 months stats:

McKenna's 4 month stats

McKenna had her 4 month check up today, and she did so good! She was smiling at the doctor through the whole exam, and only cried for a minute after her THREE shots. Nothing a little Tylenol wont take care of. The doctor says she seems to be functioning at a 6 month level, we got a smartie pants on our hands. Let's just hope she's not walking at 9 months! Ha ha!
weight: 13lbs 4oz (42%)
Height: 25.5in (90%)
Head: 16.2in (55%)
I had to post this picture, it's her favorite position as of late! EVERYTHING goes right to the mouth whether it's attatched or not!

McKenna at 2 months already!

I can't believe McKenna is two months old! That went by a lot faster than the 8 eternal days I went over due with her! We took her in for her two week check up the other day and she did so good. Four immunizations, one oral, two in one thigh one in the other! It was so sad for Jeremy and I, but she was a champ! All it took was a little Tylenol and she was back to her smiley self! The doctor says she's perfect, which of course we allready knew!
These are her two month stats:
Weight: 9.94lbs (24%)
Height: 23.5 inches (86%)
Head measurement: 15.4 (54%)

I JUST LOVE BEING A MOM!!!!

I've had so many thoughts running through my head since McKenna was born. I'm so grateful that Heavenly Father trusted us enough to send us such a sweet spirit. It's amazing the kind of love a baby brings into your life! I've always heard people talk about it but to really experience it is amazing! I love being a MOM!
I never thought I could love someone so much. She just makes everything better! I never knew I would enjoy being up in the middle of the night so much! Who knew you could have so much fun bouncing, and rocking, and soothing a baby all night long! I love looking into her eyes and seing such innocense and pure love. I love how warm she feels in my arms, and her super soft skin. I love wrapping her up tight, and watching her sleep. I love listening to her Daddy talk to her and tell her how much he loves her, and how beautiful she is, and how mommy will take her shopping and daddy will take her in the mountains! I love watching her daddy change diapers! He does such a great job even on the poopy ones! I love dressing her up in all the cute things we were given, and taking her around to show her off! She literally just lights up a room! I love feeding her and looking in her eyes, watching her panick because its just not fast enough, and listening to her little snorts! I would do anything for this little girl! And I cherish every moment I get to spend with her. I would cradle her in my arms all day long, and protect her from everything if I could. She is just my favorite (along with her daddy of course)!!
And these are just a few of the many reasons why.... I LOVE BEING A MOM!!!!!

One week to go!

This is for mom! She wanted one more picture of "the bump" so here you go!

Baby showers and more!

We had so much fun having baby showers, and got totally spoiled in the process! I had a work shower and we went to Olive Garden for dinner. We laughed all night long it was so much fun! Unfortunetly we never got the camera out! Then we had one with the ward I grew up in. Marnie Threw this one for us and she is seriously one of the most creative people I know. She had the cutest cake made, a string of baby socks hung with paper for advice, a table where we made modge podge blocks for McKenna, a table for everyone to create their own bath salt sents to take home with them, and great food to eat! We had a great time. Then we had a family shower at my Grandma Ringers house. We had amazing food to eat, and fun times sitting around chatting!

We also finished decorating McKenna's room! Jeremy's mom gave us some cute pink baskets, and I had no where to put them so "McKenna" asked grandpa Ringer if he would make her a holder for them, which grandpa turned into a book shelf as well! Thanks dad! We love it!

The "Bump" and some accessories!

The "bump" picture! I've had a lot of people asking to see a picture of me pregnant. I haven't really had much to show till now, but she finally decided to start sticking out at 34 weeks! She is still so high that I can still wear some of my pre pregnancy pants if I'm in the mood to be uncomfortable but stylish! Ha ha!

We finally settled on a car seat and stroller. Jeremy wanted to strap in a stuffed animal and go for a walk just to see how the stroller was going to work, but we decided we might get to many funny looks! So we just strolled it around the kitchen instead!

Jeremy's birthday fun!

Jeremy had a real hard time trying to decide what he wanted to do with all that birthday money he got! It was hilarious watching him run through all his options. But alas he made a decision and decided on this 0 degree mummy bag and a thermarest pad to go underneath. This is how I found him for about three days after he bought them!

McKenna's room so far!

We had a great time putting this room together! I started out wanting to do a gender neutral room, and this is what we ended up with so far! Ha ha!
